The Child Study Center and Dasom Kindergarten
The Child Study Center continues its blossoming partnership with Dasom Kindergarten.
Last May 1-8, 2011, Teacher Gen Gono and Teacher Jas Guzman were the second pair of teachers to visit Dasom. They were able to share about the Filipino culture through games, art work and dance to the children of Dasom. Of course, the trip to Korea is not just about work. CSC teachers were able to witness Korea’s children’s day and get a tour around the city.
Dasom teachers came last August 23- 26. Teacher Key In Nam (owner and director of Dasom), Teacher Young Min and Teacher Aram had a cooking demo of kimpap (Korean version of Japanese maki) and painting of Korean traditional mask. Dasom teachers were able to witness CSC’s celebration of Araw ng Wika. They were definitely delighted with all the decorations and activities during that day. They were also toured in different places around the city.
All in all, the relationship between CSC and Dasom Kindergarten is a promising one.
